Miami City

Miami is the county seat of Miami-Dade County in southern Florida, United States.
Miami is a leading resort and Atlantic Ocean port located on Biscayne Bay at the mouth of the Miami River. It is key transportation and economic center. The Everglades are only a short distance away.
Greater Miami, the state's most populous urban area, encompasses the entire county, which includes the cities of Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Hialeah, and North Miami, as well as numerous smaller municipalities and unincorporated areas; together, these form the southern section of Florida's "Gold Coast."
Among the many attractions in the neighborhood are the Miami Seaquarium, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Bayside Marketplace, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, and Jungle Island (previously Parrot Jungle and Gardens).
